Occultist w/ Obliteration for exploding chaos dmg

This wand causes enemies killed a chance to explode. Does this synergize with the Profane Bloom node in the Occultist ascendancy?
"Cursed enemies you kill have a 20% chance to Explode, dealing a quarter of their max. Life as Chaos Damage"

So a cursed enemy then has 40% chance, yes?

Second question: has anyone every tried a chaos/crit Witch build? Maybe better suited for Shadow.

Yes it stacks with Profane Bloom meaning it will have 40% chance to proc rather than 20%.

And there are lots of chaos crit witches out there already. :P I play with detonate dead personally.

I'm having good drops today. I found some gear that would work with my poison bladefall build but now I'd like to try and rework it for some better crit.
