Taunt and Duration/Temporal Chains

Will modifications to duration of skills increase the duration of Taunt? For example, the Increased Duration gem linked to a Warcry, or increased duration nodes from the skill tree.

Will Temporal Chains increase the duration affected monsters are taunted?

How does this apply to Decoy Totem?

Not sure.

Sounds kind of like it should. Haven't personally used any taunts other than enduring cry.

Where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.
temporal chains work on each mechanics that has a timer, so it should work

warcry + duration -> Im not sure if the taunt is considered to be "skill effect"

I would assume this is the case too. However, there was another mechanic I heard about recently that Temporal Chains doesn't affect the duration of, so I became curious. (I wish I could remember what that something was, but it prompted me to wonder about this.)

I know taunt is a bit of a "mysterious" mechanic. The only info I can find right now is this post, which says it lasts 3 seconds, but I thought there was a later post where they said they made some adjustments (like a cooldown between applying it on different mob types)... I could be wrong though:

Temp chain doesn't increase effect duration, it just slows time, so seconds are longer under temp chain.

edit: according to wiki, temp chain applies to warcry.

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...

I'm certain that in this case, the wiki (while often wrong) is referring to the effect granted by warcries rather than the taunt itself (this would be life regen from Enduring, mana/damage from Rallying, hinder/boom from Abyssal).

While seconds are longer under temp chains, does this apply to "recently" effects such as boot enchants and ascendancy bonuses? How would this affect whether or not it applies to taunt?
