PoE 1 Xbox servers are undergoing maintenance. Some features will be unavailable.

Reddit example of how to actually get wealthy "fast".

Top reddit comment pretty much sums it up, if you want your piece of the pie I recommend applying to work for a PoE company with your resume. A 9-5 job of doing at least 10 enchants of hour at 30 chaos per hour will get you a pretty nice hideout and some fancy unique clothing.

Live the PoE dream now instead of trying to be a hippie free spirit and farming in the wilds or something.

You can get pretty much 30 chaos/hr+ occasional drops that sell, pretty much doing anything with decent clearspeed

No you can't, I played everything from MF characters with legacy MF gear to +1 curse voll's devo discharge blasting through maps in 2 mins. It would require a lot more then that.

You cannot get "30 chaos an hour plus with drops that sell" doing "anything" with "decent clear speed."

That is like the largest exaggeration I ever heard of what normal farming will make you an hour.

Bare min it would required a fast clearing character + large amounts of MF to make anything near as much. (20/180-200ish on 30k+ dps)

30 Chaos/hour isn't that large of an exaggeration, here's an old post wherein I documented farming City of Sarn for eight hours, for the purposes of science. There's way more stuff dropping now than there was then.

That was 6-10 chaos an hour tops ~.~ Which is reasonable. (Depending on exchange rates)

He is literally saying doing what you are doing, but 3x+ at the bare min.

~way~ more stuff dropping now, and that was with a level 74 character in City of Sarn during Rampage.

I cannot stress enough how much more stuff drops now.

"More stuff" doesn't drop now though. Literally drop rates weren't buffed outside of higher end unique ~.~ You would even make less money than you did last year since rares don't even sell often now to other players.

The only source of extra income added in this league would be coins.

Chests, tormented spirits, more exiles, warbands. Rares should be made into the 2 chaos recipe always, unless they can roll the pertinent t1 affixes for the base.

There's no point arguing it with you, I suppose. Unfortunately I don't have the time to spend another eight hours farming something level appropriate to make more relevant data.

30c per hour on standard should not be too far off even not factoring occasion mid to big ticket item.

You would need IIQ gear and a remarkably good clear speed build though.
