I've been leveling up this shadow character the past few days in perandus softcore, since i was sick and in bed for most of the time, having the laptop on a chair next to me and playing with just the mouse on my bed using one hand to play the game. As it turns out, the labyrinth is a lot of fun if you don't care what happens to your char.
-You found a new set of traps that looks difficult and you don't know how to proceed? Big deal just go ahead and if it turns out badly just respawn and try again. -You made a mistake, hit a few traps and found yourself in a bad situation having no life flasks? Who cares! The flat 10health /second on your gear should do the trick. And if not, just respawn and try again! -You don't feel like making a specific build and doing just whatever? Do it. Just do it! The less thought out your build is the more forgiving the traps are! And if by accident you took too many life nodes, just respawn and try again. No biggie. -You have no bleed removal? Just respawn and try again. Ain't no thang man. All in all, i found the experience pretty fun if i play with one hand, do a non-planned char with whatever works and have no expectations at all. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready. Just an update on this thread. I got to lvl 90 in perandus hardcore and after much consideration (or rather pathing and trap testing in perandus standardcore), i decided to farm for some good enchantments on hardcore. Long story short, i had a single lag spike on a single rotating spike-pillar thingy and nearly died. After that i decided to never set foot on the labyrinth again in hc. I am surprised at how much bullshit you have to tolerate in order to keep playing hc in this game. Dc deaths, desync deaths (thankfully removed), lag deaths, loading screen deaths and now trap deaths.
Everything is going black again and someone is playing "Hello darkness my old friend..." in the background. Who is it and how do i tell him to stop?
