Which helm to enchant?

With so many options it's very hard to get "your" best option. I was lucky and got a decent one for my build with 8% increased Kinetic Blast area. But well, it's just . The all res is nice, but that's it.

So which unique helm might be the best ALLROUND helm? It should be useble by most builds so it doesn't matter if you get an caster, bow or melee enchant as every spec can wear it.

Goldrim: the all res is nice and some item rarity never hurts. But I don't feel it's enough.

: again some all res, chaos res and +1 to all socketd gems with low str/int requirements.

Which other unique helmets are "allround" and might be better options?
Melee/Caster only uniques are disqualified from start ;). So no Rats Nest for example!

Why does it have to be a unique? IMO, a rare helm with life and resists is going to be far more broadly applicable than any unique.

Sure, But a decent or good rare with 50+ life, 25+ all res will cost alot and isn't easy to optain. And most of them have realy high str/dex/int requierments. Anything above 100 will be to much allready. If you use a Armor helm with 1xx STR req and get "12% fireball damage" ... there is no way you will ever sell it again.

I first used Goldrim as I just searched for 25+% allres @poe-trade, payed 1-2 chaos and knew "it will be allways the same AND I can sell it again if the enchant is wrong". That's why unique ;).

But as Goldrim offers nothing else I now search for a better unique option.
Low requierments, usefull stats for most builds, low cost.

other unique helms that are usable across the board:

asenath's mark
alpha's howl
honourhome
the vertex

if you are just talking cheaper, solid leveling helms, get rid of alpha's and the vertex.

top choice would be goldrim, then honourhome or geoffri's

i mean, really just google "path of exile unique helms"

but realistically, the best way to profit is to take an expensive helm and get a solid, popular enchantment on it.
