Is necro summoner viable for 2.2 HC pendarius league?

They are still good. But just unpopular right now. Too many build options, personally on my 3rd character already lol.

Minions are very strong but the biggest drawback is their AI. If they had really good AI and can attack constantly without randomly derping around they will be pretty top tier.

what about srs builds? i tought they would be very stromng with necro

Summoner is very viable in general. I think I need more context what is your end game goal in HC? Uber Atziri and twinned Core malachai? Summoners prob will struggle against content like that. SRS will be more viable.
