Is there a way to recreate the Diablo II Frenzy Barbarian?
Title pretty much explains my question. Is there some way to recreate the build that so much fun to play in D2, the Frenzy Barbarian?
I would love to make a character like this, simply hacking away with say, 2 axes without using "combined attacks" like Cleave (which, by the way, ends up looking really dumb with high attackspeed.) I was thinking of simply using Frenzy as the main skill and getting some DW block, but is such a build even remotely possible to make endgame (normal mapping I guess) viable? Any ideas are appreciated, even more appreciated would be if GGG you fellas can simply make this doable (if it already isn't) as the new Ascendancy class Berserker is basically made for this shiz. C'mon, the Marauder has 2 axes in the pic even! Last bumped on Mar 10, 2016, 1:50:28 AM

You could always try making a Bringer of Rain / Wings of Entropy build. If you don't like the way Cleave looks, there is always Cyclone

So i'm not the only one who is missing this build.
Frenzy as main attack and maybe a soul taker and a rare axe? Was playing with skilltree but i don't have enough experience in building. Maybe some mara/dual wield expert can help? Selffound FTW!!!!

Dual strike.
Only thing is it isn't alternating. Could pick up tons of frenzy charges so that it is kind of like him in that he ramps up attack speed as he goes. Sure there are some uniques like blood dance boots, or something else that would make this feel cooler. But I don't know of any attacks that swing wildly like the barbarians frenzy. I have tried using frenzy with dual wield in this game and it wasn't nearly as good as other skills. |
