Don't like how the lab is implemented

The gameplay is out of left field, and the fact that one of the most exciting features added to the game since beta (Ascendacy classes) is gated behind this mess is ridiculous.

This should have been optional content, and not forced upon us. Please don't tell me ascendacy classes are optional, it's a core character feature now just like the regular passive tree.

I get some people really like the lab, and that's great, but the rest of us should not be forced to do it, the gameplay is completely out of step with my experience playing PoE since OB.

I have never in my time here seen so many upset people. I hope GGG addresses and at least makes some changes to the lab, if not I will be moving on from this game.
