Disconnected from patching server <resolved>

Since the 2.2.0d patch, and now including e/f, I have been unable to patch PoE.
'Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. Try again' is the message I get. The launcher never actually starts a patch download, just dc's after a short checking resources period. It does however bring up the current patch notes. If I WinMTR the patching server the result is a big nothing

Hard to see anything with that WinMTR, can you quickyl try Garys suggestion?

So wierd. After a few days of no patching version 2.2.0g just started downloading like normal.
Self healed. We tested it extensively

Mine is doing this, even with no AV running, and the firewall turned off. I've uninstalled completely, and downloaded the new installer. I ran the installer as admin, and it still gives this error. I'm almost ready to uninstall and walk away.
