What exactly is "close range"?

I imagine it acts like Point Blank and uses the same distance to determine additional damage, so 100% extra damage when face to face, +50% halfway between where Point Blank goes from being a damage bonus to a penalty.

"Close Range" is about twice the distance of a default sword swing.

So if you use this bow and point blank at close distance, will you do 3x or 4x base damage? Or it doesn't stack?

It stacks with Point Blank.
100% more and 50% more would be a total 3x multiplier on your normal damage. |
