[2.2] THEORYCRAFT - Exploding (Instant Earthquake/Cyclone) Gladiator - WIP
Hey guys I stumbled across a thread on reddit where a guy thought about using Rapid Decay in addition to Less Duration to proc the "Shockwave" from Earthquake as fast as possible.
Rapid Decay grants reduced duration + dmg over time. Since the Gladiator got "Gratuitous Violence" which will grant: - 25% chance to cause Bleeding on Hit with Attacks - 30% increased Damage against Bleeding Enemies - Bleeding Enemies you Kill Explode, dealing 20% of their Maximum Life as Physical Damage The best part is "Bleeding Enemies you Kill Explode" which means 100% proc chance. Ok now the important question: How do we apply Bleed?

Uniques: Atziris Disfavor (2Hand) Jack the Axe (1Hand) Skills: Puncture Skilltree + Acendancy: With the planned Skilltree we get 16% chance too cause bleeding on hit which is not reliable. With "Gratuitous Violence" granting 25% chance to cause bleeding on hit we raise the chance to 41% which could be enough to useit without the uniques! Gem Setup: Earthquake + Malee Physical Dmg + Less Duration + Rapid Decay the 5th would be then "Weapon Elemental Dmg" or "Bloodlust" if the 41% should be enough to proc it reliable! and the 6th ??? Auras: Hatred (50%) Blasphemy + Curse (35%) Harald of Ash (25%) Combine 2 of them if it should work xD Movement: Leapslam + Fortify + Faster Attacks + Inc AoE? CWDT: Cast when Damage Taken + what you prefer aka choose you poison :D There are basicly two imo viable options for the approach: 1. 1Hand Axe almost maxblock RT - Earthquacke --- 112 Points skilltree 2. 2Hand Axe max DPS RT - Earthquacke --- 112 Points skilltree Please note that i made this skilltrees in like 4 mins so its just a rough concept!
