Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - inevitable judgement + pen? - Forum

I was wondering. if you have inevitable judgement and lets say 10% lightning pen. when u crit, you reduce their res to 0. would they then have -10% if you have 10% lightning pen, or would they still have 0? thanks in advance! Resistance gets fully ignored, along with anything related to it, penetration will have no effect. From the Path of Exile wikipedia page " Consider a player using a skill with Penetrates 50% Fire Resistance dealing 100 fire damage to an enemy: If the enemy has +0% Fire resistance The enemy's resistance will be treated at 50 lower than it is, which in this case will result in an effective -50% fire resistance. The enemy will take 150 fire damage. So I will redact my original post and say I was wrong and it will just act as -10% resistance. If he penetrates 10% of the monsters lightning resistance but first reduces it to 0% it will be effectively -10% lightning resistance.
