Does instrument of virtue work with totems?

Totems are not you, but use your offensive stats. This helps you reason out a lot of mechanics regarding totems.

For example, Placing a Totem is neither an Attack nor a Spell, so there's no way to gain any bonuses from Instruments of Virtue just by placing totems.

However, if you use an Attack (e.g. Whirling Blades or Leap Slam), and/or a Spell (any Curse, Lightning Warp, etc.) then your Totems will fully benefit from the Instrument of Virtue bonus(es). That's because you gain the bonus, and the Totem uses your offensive stats, so the bonus is "passed on" to them.
