[2.1] DarkBurn: Chaos on Crit Burninator (CoC+RF)

The primary abilities you will be using are

1. Righteous Fire and
2. Cast on Crit Molten Strike + Fireball & Magma Orb

The secondary abilities you will be using are

3. Searing Bond and
4. Vaal Cyclone

Keystone Passives: Elemental Equilibrium and Point Blank

Cornerstone Items:

The basic playstyle is to get close to your enemies and blow them to bits with CoC while they evaporate in your RF. The build uses the quirk that damage conversion does not affect Damage Over Time, allowing your Molten strike and the spells it cast to cause chaos damage(converted from fire) while your Righteous Fire is doing fire damage over time. If you add cold or lightning damage to your attacks, you can take full advantage of Elemental Equilibrium so that your RF deals an extra 50% damage!!

So as you may have already guessed, this build is a lot of things. It uses several main active skills, can tank(6k+ hp), is very versatile, is very synergistic, and offers both an RF and CoC experience that are far from passive.

This build is also fairly expensive, costing about 3 exalted for a 5-Link setup and much, much more for a 6-Link setup. The good news, it's easy to level while you save up your orbs because Righteous Fire gives you plenty of DPS with only a 4-Link setup and a Rise of the Phoenix

Here's some Pros and Cons:

Pros:
Highly active, non-passive playstyle or just run around with RF
Surprisingly not laggy! Finally a CoC build for your toaster!
Stacked Fire and Poison Damage over Time!
Neither Physical nor Elemental Reflect affect you!
There are no map modifiers you cannot do!
Easy to level! Can 4L with just RF to level 80+!
Moderately Tanky(6k+ hp)
Moderately High DPS(comparable to 100k tooltip dps)

Cons
Righteous Fire self damage is not 100% mitigated so you must use flasks to maintain it or turn it off when not using
Not Hardcore friendly, mostly because of the above con
Moderately Expensive
Not beginner friendly =/ its a lot of buttons to keep track of

And by now you are probably wondering how the hell you accomplish all these things with one build. Well here's the Passive Tree, Gear, and Gem breakdown.

Gem Sets
Main

*If you want to use pure RF while leveling, just be sure to use a non-fire spell or attack to trigger Elemental Equilibrium so you get 50% more RF damage

*Molten Strike is important as your Crit Trigger because it triggers multiple times on different frames from one attack
**You can sub out arctic breath for Conc effect if you are using the Pyre ring but will cause lag

*Use Purity of Fire and Blasph+flammability if leveling with pure RF

RF-LevelingExample

*If you are anxious to start CoC early, try replacing the mace with a brightbeak(or other high crit/sec weapon) and your chest piece with a Tabula Rasa

Level-92

*You can replace the amulet with a Shaper's Seed if you aren't in the Talisman League, just be sure to find an alternative source for your Elemental Equilibrium(i.e. herald of thunder or added cold damage on gloves/ring)
**Maligaro's Virtuosity is another great choice for gloves considering this build lacks crit multiplier
