Consuming Dark + Fire Trap

At the moment i am thinking about a consuming dark fire trapper, but i wonder if the fire degen of fire trap will apply the posion of consuming dark. I mean the text of Consuming dark says: "Your Chaos damage posions enemies" and not "on Hit".I think it would be really strong because i would apply alot of posion i could double dip on dmg over time and chaos damage notes. The daggers help for good crit and the posion and trap notes are around the same area.

Two things:

- Poison is an on-hit effect, so by definition only hits can apply it.

- The burning ground created by Fire Trap can't be converted. It will still deal fully fire damage if you're using Consuming Dark — only the initial explosion will convert to chaos.
