And why do you assume this is game related?...it shows you the processes that are open and utilizing memory, PoE would 2 around 2 gig of it.....

This is my processes in a screen capture with 2 firefox instances opens and music going

For you to have 25% of your ram used by the browser it means you have a dozen or more tabs open...and i don't see poe on there.

Ok after re reading you say that even with FF closed you get 75% ram usage? take a screen shot of that, make sure every process is shown(windows dose not generally show this)

When did I say that? It isn't, it just happens to impair me from playing the game; I couldn't even have more than a tab open. So it wasn't Firefox (which was open to post this thread). I only posted because I was worried and couldn't find help, ty for even responding. Even if it took 3 days (separate posts).

Update: I ran a windows memory diagnostic for the second time just before you posted and it, once again, found nothing. However, after three days of getting kicked off PoE with messages about not having enough memory, and then not even enough to open more than one tab, my memory usage is down to 25% (with firefox). I don't even know why. It was still above 80% when I ran it, but now that it's restarted, it's normal.

I would take your advice to take a new screencap, but I can't now. I wil update again with new pic if it happens, regardless I will have to bring this thing in I guess.

Sorry, as i'd said in my edit, i re read...usually when people post here it's on the basis that they think something is wrong with the game not general PC issues not game related.

You are not to clear, i don't see a game process in the pic you provided and you claim that even with firefox closed that it showing that ram is 76% utilized?(with or without the game i'm unclear about)

Going by the basics and assuming (since i cant see it) that the game is not open, that you are at 76% memory usage when you have 8 gig of ram...keep in mind that i'm assuming that the game is not running at this point, you have slightly under 2 gig of ram with which to run the game...so f you launch the game in this state you are slightly under the ram requirement for the game...having additional firefox tabs open will eat into that available memory and cause you to crash quicker.

Now on that pic i posted i had to force windows to show all processes, you may need to do something simmilar
