Immune to bleed
Is there any way to become immune to bleeding permanently? Like a legendary item, passive node, etc? I did a cursory search and can't find any...

You can maintain Flasks permanently. That's about it.
Technically a permanent Immortal Call would do it. Goooood luck. Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Dec 27, 2015, 2:51:49 PM

No. But there is an item that prevents you from taking extra damage when moving while bleeding.
You can get pretty long immunity on quality utility flasks. Enough time to get through a fight. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

Damn... My problem isn't really solved by flasks. My problem is I just never even notice I'm bleeding till I'm dead. I really can't hear the sound effect around the sound of all my spell slinging, and on a dark hazy map like mud Geyser hell if I can see the visual effect. I mean I manage to notice my health globe draining maybe 75% of the time and flask the bleed off. But 10% is getting to be an infuriating amount of exp to loose over this.
Oh, and when I say I can't hear it. You have to realize I'm using Stormcall with some really fast cast speed and spell echo. Go spam stormcall really fast. It sound very very similar to the sound effect from bleeding. So ya, that sound effect is just totally tuned out to me. Last edited by Minandreas213#3583 on Dec 27, 2015, 3:02:47 PM

You could maintain high armor in combination with high life regen to mitigate the bleed effect. Its not really immune in this case but it helps a lot with it.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore

I just try to keep half an eye on my life level, to catch it if it is dropping quickly for whatever reason.

Frankly, you just need to improve your awareness. I play with sound off and have no trouble noticing when I'm bleeding. I don't mean that as a criticism of you, just to point out that you don't need to rely on the audio cue.
You should be constantly glancing at your life and buff bar anyway for a host of reasons, honestly. It's an important skill. Think of it like driving! :D Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

I generally put my staunching mod on quicksilvers. I use them constantly to scoot from pack to pack and most of the time if I get some corrupting blood stacks on me, I staunch them away before even noticing any damage (just hearing the notification noise that stacks are disappearing).
This is such an awesome part of my flask setup, it makes everything so much safer and easier (and quicker!). IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

Thanks for the tips all. I'll try and incorporate them.
As for the awareness thing, it's actually kind of a weird situation. I use a 32'' TV for my monitor. And it's still relatively close up to me. It's really awesome most of the time, but it's times like this that I actually wish I had a smaller monitor. The farther towards the edges of the monitor something is, the harder it is to keep an eye on it. Because it's so far off in my peripheral vision. When I raid in WoW I have a heavily modded UI to pull more of the important information closer to the middle of the screen just because of this kind of situation. But that's not an option here. But I'm not blaming the game or something. That's why I asked about a way to be immune. Just trying to solve the issue how I could. But no dice there. I'll just have to try and glance to my health globe more often, even if it's awkward with this screen size. |
