[Need advice] 30% Weight of the Empire 2h Build

My idea is to go fast attacks to hopefully proc more double damage from Weight of the Empire.

I plan to use Empire's Grasp as well.



Did a few change to this 'generic 2h RT' to get a bit more APS passives.

Would appreciate any advice. I've played this game since Ambush but I've never really learned how to make my own build. Would be more than happy to learn.

Looks legit, are you planning for SC or HC? 170% inc max life might be a bit low for HC...

And: Why Swords? If you'd go Maces and Stun you'd have a bit more defense or if you'd go Axe you'd have a bit more raw damage...

Running SC atm. Choose Swords mostly on preference. Will use Doomsower as well for that AoE.

Have you checked you've allocated enough strength near a jewel socket to activate Weight of the Empire? I assume you're planning to put it by Juggernaut?

I got 3 WotE now, Note that Devotion (templar area) gives 20str. So that should activate all. The str in the edge of the medium radius for the WotE in duelist area (near golems blood) is glowing, so that should mean I got 50 str there.

I think I am killing rare and uniques faster bec of WotE? (wish it the screen would shake when Double Damage procs).

I've also decided to switch to 2h Axe.

So far so good, overall I'm happy. But leveling with HS + MS is not a good idea (at least not until you have multistrike as well as Empire's Grasp).

I respecced my duelist into a wote build awhile ago. I also use three atm and the build is pretty much finished now as far as gearing is concerned (maybe better crit rings and ammy). Currently level 88 and is going pretty smoothly.

However, I went with a 6L hegemonys staff and because i already had one laying around. Toolbar dps is around 80k unbuffed and over 110k with auras and some charges. Hardest part is the low life aspect of the build as I only run about 4.4k hp. Grabbing those fortify and life leech clusters really do benefit the build a lot imo.

Lvl 68 now, i'm killing everything, blues and rares almost feels like white mobs. Uniques die so fast. (except for mirage of bones whom seems to be immortal)




Gear:



Tooltip dps is 13,5 with Hatred and HoA. It goes to 20k with blood rage frenzy charges. I think using punishment is overkill.

What I didn't expect is the fast Leap Slam which I'm really enjoying.

Didn't know there was a fortify wheel there. I guess I'll take it huh? I'm using fortify support gem - should I switch it to WED? then link fortify to leap slam?.

Crit with WotE would be really satisfying with that screen shake. I like how you need to target mobs, gameplay wise; for me, it's the other end of the spectrum where totem gameplay is on the other end.
