[2.1] Budget Defensive Reave Build (150k+ dps)

Back in Warbands I set out to create a defensive reave build that could be played on a budget. Everyone out there is using Death's Hand/Soul Taker/Aegis Aurora/what have you, but the skill can still be taken advantage of without these luxuries. This build can be played on hardcore if you're careful but reave is generally more tuned to softcore without significant investment.

This build works with budget gear but I will include a list of ideal uniques for those who are willing to put some extra currency into it, because the option is definitely available.

Principles of the build:
-The build does not take Acrobatics or Iron Reflexes because it benefits from Block, Evasion, and lots of Armor all at once
-We use a high armor shield so that "% increased defenses from shield" nodes in the passive tree give us immense amounts of armor as a result.
-There is a lot of extra mitigation from gems such as Tempest Shield, Vaal Grace, Enfeeble, and CWDT Immortal Call.
-With Vaal Grace up, this build rarely gets hit, and when it does, we have 80% or more phys damage mitigation from armor and charges (depending on whether you're using determination or not).

If you decide to wear Abyssus, you can replace Hatred with Determination (you'll still gain dps, and you'll have more armor to compensate for the damage increase).

You can drop Enfeeble, move Vaal Reave to your weapon and add in Vengeance + Blind/Endurance charge on melee stun if you want, but I think enfeeble is better.

Budget Gear:
Dagger: >7% crit, >230 pDPS
Shield: Lioneye's Remorse (look for high armor rolls)
Rings: Added phys damage, attributes, life, resistances. WED if possible
Amulet: Added phys damage, crit multi, life, resistances. Attributes if possible.
Belt: Rustic sash with high life, resistances, WED if possible
Body armor: You can chaos spam a 5L until you get decent life and maybe some resistances, or just buy a cheap 5L. A 6L is not necessary for this build, but helps with clearspeed.
Gloves: Phys damage/attack speed, life, resists, leech if possible
Boots/helmet: High evasion, life, resists. Movement speed is not necessary thanks to whirling blades.
Atziri's Promise for a large dps boost.
Granite flask with %increased armor and charge recovery/extra charges.

You can drop the Retaliation cluster in duelist and exchange it for 3 jewel slots if you want.

How to play:
Apply your buffs, summon your ice golem. Put on tempest shield and blood rage before combat. They will refresh themselves as long as you continue killing enemies.
Use Vaal Reave to build up your AoE stacks whenever it is available and you have enemies to hit.
Use enduring cry as often as you can, especially when fighting monsters that do lots of phys damage.
Use Vaal Grace for bosses and exceptionally high damage situations.

Ideal uniques for those who are willing to spend some currency:
1. Bino's Kitchen Knife - This one is the most important, the regen from Bino's gives us an even greater degree of survivability, and with the new poison mechanics, this will synergize SO well with Adder's Touch.
2. Lightning Coil - duh
3. Taste of Hate and/or Rumi's Concoction - duh
4. Maligaro's virtuosity - More crit if you have enough resists everywhere else
5. Rat's Nest - If you want more dps while still being defensive and not opting for an abyssus
