[2.0]AngryWeasels Yolo Cycloner (HC viable)

Hello there and welcome to my guide on yolo cycloning.

Right now my character is level 93 in the Flashback HC league.

I have uploaded a video that goes over the most important points of the build and the endgame possibilities of it which you can check out on the link below.

DPS: (with my current gear and gem levels)
33K without blood rage/frenzy
45K with blood rage/3 frenzy

Leveling with this build is really easy you just use Sweep/cyclone with conc for single targets with a 2h axe/mace until level 46 then you can equip "Great old one's ward" from that point forward you can use cyclone as the main skill with facebreaker. I started using Abyssus when I had a 5L chest at level 75 where I had most of the block and armour nodes. Doing it before 5l is not recommended since you would probably use the blood magic node on the tree for easy lvling.

Bandits:
Oak-Kraityn-Oak

Gem setups:

Cyclone - Faster attacks - Melee physical - fortify - Blood magic - (Added fire 6L)

Vaal cyclone - Life gain on hit - faster attacks - Melee physical

Blood magic - Blood rage - Cast when damage taken - Warlords mark

Riposte - Reckoning - endurance charge on melee stun - life leech

Arctic armour - grace - Herald of ash

Elreon endgame version:
Now for really endgame setup you could use 3 elreon jewl -8 ish each with regaled max flat phys with multi mod craft for life and resists and swap out blood magic for increased AoE or Concentrated effect.

Endgame build without elreon jewelry:
Tree

Endgame build with elreon jewelry:
Tree

If you have any questions about the build you can always ask me here or ingame or my stream www.twitch.tv/angryweasel_xlii

Why pick up Elementalist over Diamond Skin?

Also, how important is Unrelenting in a build like this?

I've made a skill tree roughly based off of information you provided with a few alterations. I wouldn't consider myself too knowledgeable so I would love your opinion. I play SC and opted to start Marauder and made changes accordingly. I've also dipped over towards the Scion tree for Sentinel and Berserking. I've opted for Diamond Skin over Elementalist to save a few points and opted not to go up the Marauder life limb. I would love your opinion and constructive criticism. I hope to make a Cyclone Marauder for the upcoming 5 week league.

You have to get up to the aoe nodes anyways and I valued resist + elemental dmg higher than the 2x10 str nodes.

Also you skipped a lot of armour nodes which I would recommend getting especially with Abyssus but again you are playing in SC so it's not as important. But if you die to much I would recommend switching some points around for that.

Do you think this build would fare well in the upcoming 5W? Im mostly playing solo though and in softcore. Maybe its more of a support build?

Yes it would fare quite well not very expensive and very safe.

Don't you think the fifth link should be added fire and not faster attacks? I'm pretty sure that would be more damage or do you just prefer the attack speed and movement speed? I think that this will be my build for the 5 week race.

I prefer faster attacks but you can try it out and see what you like better but since you don't have an high aps weapon I kinda feel that the attack speed helps out alot.

Im playing almost identical build in std, started some time ago in warbands. Im alternating between cyclone and ice crash. Cyclone is better if you look at the numbers, its just more effective on paper (pure phys dmg, stun immunity) but IC is faster in clearing packs and way cooler looking and feeling

Cyclone will always win against bosses though especially with elreon jewl endgame setup with conc effect.

Yup, single target is no question.
I have 70k dps on IC and Cyclone and cyclone is a lot faster on bosses with the same dps numbers. Range sucks for packs but with aoe gem is not so bad.
