opopopop on specteral throw, could give them some 500k+ single target
Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.

i'd go crit wand build with barrage + shotgun + gmp + coc + artic breath if I got a 6 link add chain for trash mobs and lmp for bosses lol... so many projectiles.... stand close enough so that all hit and unlesh the pretty ice explosions.... 14 of them all hitting 1 target!

mechanically that should work, but with both a less and reduced attack speed multiplier, good luck getting teh same speed you'd normally want on it.

boss killer, its not speed that matters, its dps. That dps would be huge, one hit would demolish.
Use it with a burn skill and the stacking burns so they all work together.... |

i'm seeing a lot of "really strong" but not a lot of "it would be over powered" which is good.
for the record, it's a support for making things more like ice crash "near op one shot" but a really slow shot. |

Depending on your cast / attack speed it is clearly OP from the beginning and ultra-OP at level 20.
(The following calculated damagevalues are considering speed and are multipliers for DPS not hit damage) " We assume all 6 (1+5 extra) projectiles hit a target. => 600% damage (or 500% more) Now multiply with 0,7 (less cast / attack speed). => 600% * 0,7 = 420% damage (or 320% more) Multiply with 0,7 again (less projectile damage) => 420% * 0,7 = 294% damage (or 194% more) Like already mentioned: depending on your cast / attack speedmodifiers the overall damage changes. 0% increased cast / attack speed: multiply with (1,0 - 0,5) / 1,0 = 0,5 (reduced cast / attack speed from gem). => 294% * 0,5 = 147,00% damage (or 47,00% more) 10% increased cast / attack speed: multiply with (1,1 - 0,5) / 1,1 = 0,5454... (reduced cast / attack speed from gem). => 294% * 0,54545454... ~ 160,36% damage (or ~60,36% more) 50% increased cast / attack speed: multiply with (1,5 - 0,5) / 1,5 = 0,6666... (reduced cast / attack speed from gem). => 294% * 0,66666666... = 196,00% damage (or 96,00% more) 100% increased cast / attack speed: multiply with (2,0 - 0,5) / 2,0 = 0,75 (reduced cast / attack speed from gem). => 294% * 0,75 = 220,50% damage (or 120,50% more) Or x% increased cast / attack speed (without shotgun) leads too 294% * (1,0 + x - 0,5) / (1,0 + x) damage. This -100% for the more multiplier. "really strong" is a big lie "it would be over powered" is a lie too since it is more than simply over powered it is... <<insert insults here, a lot of them>>. " Ever heard of diminishing returns? The more projectiles you have the less impact flat added projectiles have, it's additive. But the damage penalties from GMP and LMP work multiplicative. It's like combining LMP + GMP before version 2.0, one gem actually lowered overall DPS of the other one, with barrage and this shotgun gem it get's even worse.
