Wings of Entropy & Blacksmith's Whetstone Bug
|
Greetings,
This is my first bug report so I am trying to follow the guidelines as specified. My bug that I am reporting has to do with the Wings of Entropy item and the interaction I have noticed with the item Blacksmith's Whetstone. I was traded said Wings of Entropy with no quality. I used 20 Whetstones to bring it to quality 20%. Then to my surprise the quality was gone. I had done nothing to said item other than try use Fusings on it to 5L or 6L. When I did this I then noticed that the quality had disappeared... So I thought I was seeing things so I thought ok maybe I didn't add them stones... so I did it again. And had my wife watch me do it so I wasn't going crazy. And low and behold after I come back from dinner, the item had no bonus quality again. So I took a Screen shot of my Whetstones my Wings of Entropy at no quality, took a screen with its quality and now just took another screen with its quality reset once again... I don't know if there is any compensation for what I have lost, personally I don't care really I just would like this fixed and my fellow exiles aware of this bug till it is. Images will be in the spoilers I first noticed this issue at around 4:00pm GMT -5:00 (Eastern Standard) And I noticed the reset in the quality again at 1:35am GMT -5:00 (Eastern Standard)

Wings of Entropy (No quality again and I used a fusing to prove it was same item as I am pretty sure every item dropped in this game has a unique code to it. plus the stats are exact and only the links changed, so what are the odds of that happening?
![]() I hope this can get taken care of soon. Thanks for your time, and let me know if anyone else has experienced this issue please. This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

Using a fusing orb, jeweler's orb, or chance orb on an item removes its quality though.

So much effort put into a bug report, that isn't even a bug...just a few lines of text sitting there on jewelers and fusing orbs which was not read...............

" it's better than no bug report at all :-) keep up the good work op, game got complex as hell and still has many inconsistent mechanics, it will not be the last time you're (and we will be) wrong about things... age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" unfortunately the bug reports that would need this much detail usually just get a post of it's broke...fix it, take instance crashing for instance, almost every single one of them have nothing that help GGG locate the problem despite myself personally telling them what would be needed to identify the problem quickly...instead they just leave it and QQ, and lo and behold...when it's getting fixed it's something i've repeatedly told people to lost. @OP...don't be discouraged, just read a little first. Pretty sure I noted that it was my first bug report and that I could be completely off on the matter. And like the one poster said, at least I made the attempt in case it was actually in fact a bug.
Now that I know that the jewelers and fusing orbs do this I deem this thread closed, and I thank those here that gave there feed back on the topic at hand. And if I come across any that may be deemed bug worthy I shall be posting them as well in great detail as I did here. |

" Hey there, tubittrigun. I personally appreciate the time you spent making such a detailed bug report. I look forward to reading more of your reports in the future. Thank you! |
