Is Atziri's Acuity Worth it?

Well I'm just wondering cos I was about to buy a pair, but when I got to think I'm better off with Legacy Maligaro's, which are like 8 times cheaper than a pair of Atziri's, and (besides life) give better stats.
Maybe someone has a valid point I'm missing that explains both the usefullness and price of Atziri's . or am I just better off with my Maligaro's ? I'd like someone to explain me if there's any improvement if I get Atziri's or should I just focus on some other stuff of my build cos my gloves are already fine? . |

" They're worth it if your build doesn't have reasonable access to vaal pact and if you can afford them. They were much better before 2.0 when life leech values were 5 times higher and Vaal Pact decreased life leech to, what was it, 40%? Also instant leech also worked for mana which vaal pact does not give also still life regen they where also mostly used for low life builds where life didn't matter.

They are an luxury item that you get mostly last in any build really.
