Ancestral Bond question
If I take ancestral bond I'd like to know if the following will still work:
Innervate's chance to shock Ice Bite's chance to freeze Knockback Elemental Proliferation Life Gain on Hit Also, will enemies get stunned by hits as normal? I guess not, from the wiki description: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Stun |

Stun and elemental status effects won't work because they are all dependent upon you dealing damage. Even, burn, which has no minimum damage threshold (unlike shock/chill/freeze/stun) won't apply if you deal no damage whatsoever.
On-hit effects will still work. LGoH, knockback, PCoC, Blind, Culling Strike, etc. Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it! Last edited by viperesque#7817 on Oct 1, 2015, 7:23:02 AM

Thanks for that. The PCoC part was a surprise until I read up on crits. So with Ancestral Bond, your strikes still get rolled for crit chance. It seems like PCoC is the only way that that is actually useful. Do your totems benefit from you having power charges? Can totems crit?

Totems use your offensive Stats. If you have Power Charges, you have Increased Crit Chance, and Totems will use that as well, landing more Crits.
Spell Gems have their Crit Chance listed on the Gem; anything above 0% means the Totem can Crit. Attacks use your weapon's Crit Chance. |
