Is there no way to add the +1 gem level to my current bow with +2 socket gem level?

This is my first time to try to seriously build a PA char. I currently have a self-found +2 socket gem bow. So does that mean there is no way to add this 3rd +gem socket now for this bow now? Must all +3 bow always be crafted from scratch with a bow bought with the signature mod?

crafting is the only way to be sure, but it is possible to get a natural +2/+1, it's just seriously rare and you'll likely get a bunch of other mods you don't want.

the master crafted ones are the cheapest route and you can mod them exactly the way you want.

If ur bow has a free suffix and prefix, than it can be done. Else need to do from scratch.

Humm... my bow has no mod done to it at all but how do I get that +1 gem level crafted? I checked the master craft wiki I don't see any master has the ability to do it except it says that Catarina sells bow with the +1 gem signature mod.

some of it is crafted by you, but then you add master crafting to force certain results...

Take any iLVL 64 bow, preferably a cheap 6 link with MS or high APS.

1. Roll single stat +2 bow gems
2. Add Cannot roll attack mods
3. Regal (safe cause the only prefix that can roll is +1 Gems)
4. If you hit the +1 gem good
5. if not exalt
6. after you hit +1 gem remove the Cat Mod and add the Leo mod for DOT
7. if you want Reroll the Leo mod until 30%
8. Exalt out the remaining suffixes

GG you now have a +3 Poison Arrow bow with 30% DOT worth 15 EX - 45 EX
