Chaos Golem should not work with Elemental Proliferation gem.

Hello
After placement Summon Chaos Golem gem in Doryani's Catalyst with bonus "Gems in this item are Supported by level 20 Elemental Proliferation" Golem inflicts 21% less damage and has more mana multiplier. As we all know Chaos counts as non-elemental damage and Poison counts as non-elemental status ailments. So it does not make sense because the description of the Elemantal Proliferation gem says "Elemental Status Effects caused by supported Skills spread to other enemies". This situation negatively affects for players who are forced to put Chaos Golem in such a popular weapon like Doryani's Catalyst. I still do not see the reason why Chaos Golem inflicts less damage without any elemental source. I think that in this complicated game is not a problem to fix it.

Yes, it would be a problem actually, precisely for the reasons stated by Raye. It is possible for the Chaos Golem to Proliferate status ailments, and as such it benefits from the Support. Whether yours specifically can or cannot inflict status ailments is not relevant.
