Diamond flask not considered a utility flask?
If you attempt to skin a diamond flask onto a quicksilver flask you get the message "The two items must be the same type". Both flasks should be considered utility flasks. You can skin Quartz/Sapphire/Topaz/Amethyst/etc flasks onto Quicksilvers as they are all utility.
Please GGG, I can't skin diamond flasks onto my RT marauder's flask bar until you fix this gamebreaking bug. Last bumped on Jun 26, 2016, 4:10:18 AM

Diamond Flasks unfortunately had to be a different type for technical reasons (the restriction that prevents the Surgeon's prefix rolling on them). We have goals to unite all flasks (including life/mana recovery flasks as well as utility ones) in the future, but I can't say when that might happen.

How about a cheap fix in the meantime ?
Let's say Diamond Flasks become 'restricted utility flask'-type, they would still match a 'utility flask' filter, but you can check against it for affixes. Although if skins use a strict type-checking, that won't help much. Dang. Last edited by grinvader on Sep 6, 2015, 7:05:45 AM

Damn, nearly one year later, and still the same problem... That diamond flask looking way too boring in between all the other awesome ones... :(
Please GGG it can't take so much effort to solve this... |
