Doedre's Scorn. Do minions get the extra damage?

Im sorry, I know this has probably been addressed elsewhere but I cant find it. Does the extra damage per curse apply for minions as well? Thanks

Why would it? They aren't wearing the helm and it doesn't mention 'minions or 'allies'.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
