How do you link an item in a thread for selling purposes?

I'm new to selling items in POE and was wondering if someone can tell me the text/html you would use to link an item in a thread that you are selling(showing the picture of the item) so that it shows up at POE.TRADE.

You click your character, top left of the forum screen, scroll through your stash/characters to find the item you want to link, then hold shift and click said item. It will paste it into the current thread you are editing.

I would recommend you give https://github.com/xyzz/acquisition/releases a try. It is great for setting up and maintaining your shop! You can find tutorial videos for it on youtube if you need them.

Thanks so much Varkorium. Right now it's just one item I'm selling, but in the future I plan on setting up a small shop and I will definitely use acquisition for that.

So do I understand it correctly, if I only list one item in the "selling" thread, it will still show up at poe.trade? I wonder how it pulls in your price you are asking for it?

Yes if you want to sell just one item you can, once you shift click the item into a forum post in the trade section, you then just add your buyout or fixed price etc.

wow, I didn't realize it wouldn't automatically show me as online :(
So I guess based on that link you provided, I have to message the team and wait for them to respond to have it me online?
I'm not on a "ladder" so I know that's not an option.

Agrgggg. Okay this didn't work, somehow in the store it's showing my other character's name in the standard league :(...i'm not sure how it did that since I'm logged in with my warbands character...

You will still get the message from buyers, it is Account based :)
