Wrath and increased effect of Auras you Cast

Does passive skill nodes that say "+X% increased effect of Auras you Cast" apply to the portion of the Wrath aura that increases your and nearby allies Lightning Damage with spells?
For example: I have level 20 Wrath that adds 21% more Lightning Damage to spells and also I have 40% increased effect of auras. So after applying passives the result should be 0.21 * 1.40 = 0.294 (29.4% more Lightning Damage with spells)? Thus final damage should be calculated as X * (1 + (0.21 * 1.4)) or is it calculated differently. Like this X * ((1 + 0.21) * 1.4) giving 1.694 multiplier so in effect 0.694 more Lightning Damage with spells? It is 29.4% more damage after passives are applied.

Just to clarify further, total spell lighting damage with level 20 wrath aura will be calculate as:
X * (1 + Y) * 1.21 and total damage with increased aura effect passives will be calculated as: X * (1 + Y) * (1 + (0.21 * (1 + Z))) where X - lightning damage Y - total increased lightning damage, spell damage and elemental damage Z - increased aura effect * I'm not considering other 'more' increases in this case. |

Note that you cannot have 0.4% More Damage - always round down first.

sorry about necroposting, but this thread is closest to my question.
when using Wrath lvl 11 to grant my minions lightning damage, I've seen no change in the tooltip before and after assigning a passive point to the "Aura Effect" 6% node located on the Sovereignty cluster. the tooltip has been unchanged at 8-128 damage. to my limited understanding, that should have been 8-136 lightning damage (as in 8*1.06 - 128*1.06). as I have no other items or passives to affect the Wrath aura, why didn't the tooltip change? also, if I would have added the Sovereignty notable, the lightning damage should become 9 - 148 or 9 - 149 (as in 8*1.16 - 128*1.16 or 8*1.1*1.06 - 8*1.1*1.06)? |

" "Increased effect of auras you cast" stats aren't reflected in your aura tooltips. The tooltip shows the base aura effect because any allies affected by the aura might have increases or reductions to buffs or auras, which the tooltip can't possibly account for and which would stack additively with aura effect nodes such as Sovereignty. If the tooltip included some modifiers but not others it would be quite confusing so it just shows the base effect before any applicable modifiers. While there isn't a way to make the tooltip 100% accurate I feel like the way it is now is more honest. My supporter items: Victario's Charity and The Forsaken
