(Zombies) +2 MInion Speed or Multistrike?

Hiya - hope your'e all finding the odd exalt.

I'm having trouble deciding whether to use min ionspeed in my +2 minion helm or Multistrike.

My minion speed is 13lvl similar to MS.

In the +2 helm currently I have Min Damage, speed, Zombie and Item quantity.

Obv the minion speed gem benefits from the +2 bonus, but the Multistrike wouldn't.

But I hear those Zombie dudes just love multistrike. It's hard to beat a skill that repeats twice.

On the other hand Min speed is great as well.

Any thoughts?

BTW I use Monte Grasp and have 4 large, very tough zombies.

One more thing - why doesn't minion damage with gem in place not show increased damage on my Character pane for minions?

If you are looking for dps I would go Z-melee phys-multi-added fire. AF can be swapped with splash for better clear speed. The +2 is for the zombie gem and not particularly important for minion support gems. MP will beat MD (even in the +2 helm) once decent increased minion damage is gained through the tree or gear.

If you are focusing more on zombies as tanks/meat shield, speed may be useful for getting them in position.
Thanks for this so is melee phys or splash better than minion dmg or multisrike? for Clear speed.

Splash is excellent for clear speed, m phys is the best gem for direct damage. Multistrike is great in both regards and works very well with the other two. I would never really consider putting minion damage in a 4L zombie setup. Not because it is a bad gem but it is just not the best. Also, you are working with all red gems so may as well level all and test them out for your preference.

It's a multiplier now, same value as MPD but for all damage types. It's usually a better choice because of color and interchangeability, it performs the same no matter the minion type and setup, a top support currently.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

minion damage is the best damage gem period. the only reason to not use it is if your base is almost entirely str / dex based. if thatis the case , i humbly suggest getting a new base.

melee splash is nice .but to be be frank clear speed is what specters are for. even the nerfed revenents will shoot circles around an army of zombies while sipping hot chocolate with me in the back .

it is better in groups just because there is a much greater chance for hostile mobs to live long enough for them to bunch up and let the splash do its work.

however going solo multi strike is better just because it is another 30% more multi that doesnt dilute the zombie damage pool. And since the specters will handle trash well enough .. you will need teh single target for bosses. multi strike obliges .

but melee physical and minion damage should always , always be included . multi and splash are what you switch between as they suck together .

minion speed ... is a terrible terrible TERRIBLE gem. its only used is in low level pvp where the most important aspects of minions are high hp pools and high movement speed .
