Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Farming "The Sun" Divination Card - Forum

Hey guys, has anyone got experience with farming that card, because I'm really getting demotivated right now... I've been farming Solaris Temple for the past 3 days, my ranger basically lived in there, and not a single drop of that goddamn card. I really need to know if that is normal or if I'm just doing something wrong? I have a full set of Jack in the Boxes after farming Docks for 3-4 hours, so what the fuck is it with The Sun? If I understood the drop penalty system correctly, I should only have 5% decreased quantity of currency/divination cards in merc Solaris temple. I kinda wanted to try self found with my new RF Marauder but if that means running Solaris Temple until my eyes bleed (and they do already) then no thanks. What is this system all about then? Why should I farm a zone (and the same zone all the time even, yay) in which I do not get xp, do not get good currency drops, and no damn card drop within 3 days? I somehow managed to drop a full set of the Gem Cutter's Prism card in act 4 normal on my first char, and then have not dropped another since. Same with the Wisdom Scrolls set. (I currently have my first up to merc act 4 and my second just made it to merc) I think the "common" cards have an incredibly sporadic drop rate. Good luck with the "rare" ones. Someone in GGG made a mistake that good divination cards do drop for players in the patch notes and they owe everyone an apology.
