Minion stats? Why cant we really see them?
|
For instance, if I am using animate Guardian it would be nice to see what items I used in him, what his defense, evasion, resists, attack speed, chance to block, crit, and all the other stats would be including his damages.
Same thing with golem, skeletons, specters, zombies. All of their stats should be viewable. It would also be nice to have an option you can set, where your minions run in front of you as you are moving, or have them behind you as you are moving or have them all' around you in a circle as you are moving. You should have some option to form' your battle strategy and either have them chase enemies, or stay, or whatever. I am sure you know what I mean. It would also be nice to be able to see our aura stats as well, correctly. Last edited by Sixpackand2guns#4669 on Jul 21, 2015, 9:53:08 AM

I agree that this would be "nice to have", but it's not that important. First thing I tried to figure out after getting this chaos Golem was, how much life he has and how much damage he do.
Well in case of Golem it's easy, as it's in the skill description included. Not sure what's included in the description for minions, but for totems you might won't find any life Information, or maybe I didn't find it so far. I guess to implement a complete overview for minion stats would be a huge effort. Last edited by Zalkortis#7661 on Jul 21, 2015, 10:06:10 AM

All they need to do is update the spread sheet when you click on the skill in info. IT shouldnt be too hard, they already have everything in place, its just not visible. Even updating the tooltip for the gems in hotkey would be nice.

" No they would have to rewrite core parts of the engine to allow the tooltip or character sheet to access this kind of info. It sounds strange that the character sheet can't display, say how much armour your guardian has, when it's running around you, with a set amount of armour, taking physical damage and what not, but that seems to be the case. The amount of work needed is probably very substantial. With that said, I agree, it does feel silly that a player can spawn an object but not inspect what that object actually is. " They did it in d2, please dont tell me they cannot do this simple thing in poe... |

Yeah not being able to see what is currently equipped on your animated guardian is a real drag. Hell in d2 you could hover your mouse over the icon for your mercenary and open its inventory. I DO love that animated guardian is a viable summoner skill now, so thanks for that.
Also, would be nice if someday we could have a way to store or imprint a specter into a gem or orb. I have seen some brilliant suggestions lately on how to accomplish this. I run 6 specters and when a disconnect or something occurs it sucks having to go back to the area for your preferred specter and desecrating all over again etc etc. Guild Leader - LÉGÄCY

Diablo II had such vast quantities of errors in its displayed data, most of which you're probably not even aware of.. Great game from a gameplay perspective, but the technical side is beyond abysmal.
ANYWAYS. Minions in Diablo II had their own fixed stats; each stat had one single formula to determine a final value. Minions in Path of Exile have stats as if they were monsters; a level 20 Zombie Gem does not summon a level 20 Zombie, but a level 68 Zombie or something close to that. It's a much more complex system, and values cannot simply be summoned at will. Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Jul 23, 2015, 9:06:06 AM
