Necro's 2.0 RF [Tempest]

Hello all,

after not having played RF for a while I wanted to try it again in 2.0. Some things have changed since I last did a RF character, for better or worse I don't know yet :)

For the moment this will be a quick guide and I will update it more and more as the character progress.

Since RF is not that popular anymore it brings this build back to a pretty cheap starting option.

Again this build will focus on physical damage mitigation. It lost the determination aura but you can use fortify and arctic armour now which, in my opinion, is a great boost to survibability.

Leveling is really easy, get a 2h and ice crash, you will cruise to level 65. Supports added fire damage/increased physical damage/fortify/blood magic, with whatever auras you like. Cyclone is also an option.

I included the axe cluster here because I had a 2h axe while leveling, it can be changed to sword or mace easily

At around 80ish (level 65) points you can go RF, just respec the 2h and damage nodes into life regeneration. Change auras to arctic armour, vitality and purity of fire (use a +x to fire gems scepter if your pof is not high enough)

I decided to try iron reflexes together with blood dance for the damage boost and the life regeneration as a change from pre 2.0 build. For final chest I will have to see how the physical mitigation goes in higer levels, if it's not enough I will try lightning coil (replace vitality with purity of lightning). Other options would be belly or kaom's, however prices are kinda screwed at the moment :)

Attack: ice crash (level 1), fortify, curse on hit, flammability.
Make sure you don't have any added fire damage to your attack. Ice crash will proc EE, fortify and curse on hit, that's why we keep RT in the tree and get a scepter with high attack speed. The mana regen from the tree should be enough for the 13 mana cost of ice crash

RF: RF, increased AOE, concentrated effect, increased burning damage

IC with increased duration (IC duration is heavily nerfed now but well whatever)

The build feels pretty tanky, I have to see how it does in maps. Gotta run now, will update more later on :)
