Viper strike in 2.0 ?

Hi guys, I am trying to theorycraft a Viper Strike build in 2.0, but am not having any luck so far. For example, here's my current idea:

As you can see, it doesn't have nearly enough life nodes, and has too many nodes, period. Can you help me optimize it ?

My plan is to use Dagger+Shield, and Viper Strike + Melee Splash + Multistrike as my main attack skill. I am planning on taking IR for defence and using Evasion gear (unoriginal, but it works).
Taking chaos damage nodes in the worst way to increase damage output of viper strike.
Taking physical damage nodes is much better - they are larger and not on the other half of the tree.
