Alchemist's Stone Achievement?

Is there a trick to getting the Alchemist's Stone achievement? Ive not seen a Normal Jewel drop, only Magic and higher.

Patch notes for 2.0.0 state:

"

Jewels can drop as Magic, Rare or Unique.

Any idea how this achievement can be obtained? According to Steam, a couple of people have it already.

Couldn't you scour a magic or rare jewel?
