Max Life reduction due to chaos degen bears

The Problem is, that after encountering chaos degeneration aura bears in my tropical island map, my maximum life (or what is left after reserving 65%) was decreased. It showed as if I could heal the missing life up with my life flask, when I tried, the life flask made its "blub" sound, but nothing happened. All of my other flasks worked as intended and my life leech from doryani's did not work aswell.
Things that I could imagine cause this issue:
My life is reserved with the Vitality aura.
I'm running Righteous Fire.
Maybe some Keystones are bugged, I have allocated "Zealot's Oath", "Mind over Matter" and "Pain Attunement".
I'm using the Conqueror's Efficiency Jewel.
(side information, I have 65% chaos res in merciless)
After leaving the map my life went to 533 again.
I hope you can fix this, it's already scary enough with just 533 Life unreserved. :D
