Life getting randomly capped below its max

Hi

My Witch's life will often get her life somehow capped below her max and wont top off. And this is for no reason--I am not taking anymore damage from any apparent sorce it just reaches a random number before it hits max and stops. Even flasks wont make it go higher.

Example

My life is at 3998 instead of max of 4013 even though there is no reason since I am not taking damage

You can see here I have used a flask charge and my life is still not at max.

Another example

This time its at 4011

And again a flask is used and it still wont top off.

It just happens whenever I take damage at some point it will randomly pick a number and wont go any higher no matter what. Even after I stop taking damage and flasks wont work as the above show.

If I get into another fight and take damage again sometimes--I mean sometimes but not always this random "ceiling" will change. Sometimes I will be able to reach max life again--other times it will be a new random number just below my max life and stay there no matter what until I either go back to town or get in another fight and new "cap" happens.

I have no idea why. I am not 100% sure but i *might* be related to bleeding. Its kind of hard to always tell in the middle of the fight but it might be bleeding damage that keeps randoomly resetting my life cap.

I know the first thing people will say is "just wait for the bleeding to stop" But point is after it stops and I am no longer taking damage I still cant reach max life anymore. And its always some random number sometimes only 1 or 2 points below max life 4013 but sometimes its 20 plus below.

Now like I said I am not sure if its JUST bleeding that does it or if other types of damage cause it as well. I am just sure it is annoying :P.

Are you sure it isn't a map mod causing it or a Tempest?

Hi

Those screenies were taken in the dried lake of act 4. Not a map. Thoguh its happened in other areas not just dried lake. And its standard not Tempest.

Well, none of your characters gear explains it so it's an environmental/interaction with enemy issue.

Hi

I figured out more about what is doing this. It's an interaction with Zealot's Oath and being heald over time.

You take damage but since you have zealots you need to either leech or use a flask to heal up. Hitting a flask like seething that heals instantly--no worries you get the full amount. However if you hit a flask like perpetual or any non seething/bubbling then it will slowly fill up your life ball--BUT it will stop short of what should be your life cap. How far from the cap seems random some times its only one or two points short sometimes its over 10.

Bubbling flasks work kinda either/or since they have both a instant and a over time portion. If the instant portion is enough to completely max out your life then no problem. But if the instant heal part isnt enough and the over time kicks in--then it will stop just short of your cap.

Life leech alsa seems to do the same thing.

The annoying and potentially dangerous part is this. When it stops short of your cap like say it stops at 4009 when your cap should be 4013. That 4009 for all intents and purposes IS your new cap. Hitting flasks again will do NOTHING. And a "creeping effect can set in. Like first time it stops at 4009. Then next time it can stop a few points under 4009 to like say 4003 then 3999 and on and on (especially when you use leech)

The ONLY way I have found around this has been to ONLY use instant heals. Like hitting a seething twice or as many time as needed fill you life back up to the max. But even with this if you get "stuck" at under the cap you have to wait until the next time you take damage for it to work.

And this is happening with both of my characters who are using zealots oath. One is a witch and the other a Scion.
