Troll cards

Divination cards are supposed to be rare, right? What exactly is the point of putting completely useless cards like these?
Just to troll players? 40 wisdom scrolls is worth less than an alchemy orb. For the players with item filters that makes divination cards look as rare as exalts this is just one of those "YES" then "booooo" moments. If it serves no purpose then might as well just remove it and reserve them for items that are actually useful. This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

That's one of the most useful divination cards there is. MFing in the lategame chews through stacks and stacks of scrolls - having a way to replenish them quickly is a great thing.

" It's not a troll card. The point of cards is giving you the option of farming a specific area for specific rewards, so players who map a lot can do this if they haven't gotten a lot of currency from mapping. But besides that very specific niche, I don't see this card being useful. It has its use. Leave it be. |

When going on my MF character (at least in 1.3), I was not able to get enough Wisdom scrolls to identify the rares I found. That divination card would be very good :-)

They are not all equally rare and you only need to collect 3 of them for a reward + the posts above this one. Sounds fair.

" I read something entirely different when I glanced over this, so I'll say it. I don't know how far cards will stack, but let's say you can go beyond 3 with these. A single stack of these, assuming it's like 30, will yield 1,200 scrolls of wisdom. Usually they go 400:1 chaos or so, so a single stack of 30 would sell for ~3 chaos. It's much easier to click one stack than ten stacks of scrolls, which also take up much more space. |

" Don't you guys know that Transmutaions, Alterations and a bunch of other stuff sells for heaps of Wisdom scrolls? MFing can be sustained indefinitely with a initial investment of 40 scrolls. Going out of your way to farm this divination card is a real waste of time(even if you decide to sell only the Transmutaion Orbs). |
