do jewels drop a lot? none have dropped for me

I was expecting common skill tree jewels to be really easy to get, but none have dropped for me yet. Is that weird? I've only played a moderate amount, but I thought they'd be a pretty common drop. I've been doing the beginning Act 4 Merciless zones and dailies mostly. I have 4 slots for them in my passive skill tree but nothing to put in them yet. I got 1 yellow one from a quest, but it's no good and I need white/blue ones so I can roll alts on them.

I wouldnt say a lot, atleast early on, but i have found 3 jewels from act1 norm -> act4 cruel

What do they look like on the ground? Is just white text?

So i wouldn't say they drop so often at all :P

Jewels don't need to be upgraded as often as other gear, 3 jewels + 2 unique ones by act 4 cruels is probably more than enough as you probably won't have enough sockets for them anway

I have done 25 maps, and only found one "strength nodes in radius to dex" ...so I must have bad rng right now or something...kinda pissing me off, I need jewels to put in the fucking sockets...I thought they would at least drop white...haven't seen any, so guess not...

I even blew through act 4 on N,C,M on release and got nothing...wth!

Jewels are normally blue.
they are hard to see unless you have a lootfilter.
there is an act2 quest for a unique jewel.
some unique jewels are nodrop; you must corrupt another unique to get it.

The way to get best jewels is to alt/aug them until you get a good combo, then regal it for a third affix.

Friend of mine has a jewel that reads:
10% increased damage
15% increased physical damage
16% increased staff damage

You get a unique jewel as a reward for 'Through sacred ground' quest in act 2 in each difficulty. Otherwise I find they drop about as commonly as uniques.

They are technically currency. They drop as often as chaos, scour, regrets.
