ISO: Glacial Cascade Build (2.0)

I am looking for a Crit Glacial Cascade build that is made properly. I am working on one of my own. I did not play the Beta, so I am still unclear how good jeweles are and what is new coming up. So If anyone has any builds, or passive tree's let me know.

I'm going HC Witch Glacial Cascade too... but i have no idea how i will survive the endgame...
Been playing beta with one... Had to use 15 portals to kill Malachai in normal o.O .. and my damage was decent.. just u take soooo much dmg from everything there. I don't see how i will be able to do Malachai on Cruel tbh. Would love to see someone making a decent HC Witch build that doesn't Involve CI ... cause... u know.. CI is not noob friendly. And i've never done it either. The simple though of Elemental reflect / thorns scares me to death.. since we can't rely on Arctic Armour anymore T_T. I'm a level 64 Shadow in Tempest with this build and having a blast with it so far. I started shadow because I originally was going to go trapper, but Witch is also a good start, maybe even a better one. I forget exactly when I made the switch to GC, but it was still in normal, so I've leveled almost all the way with GC. I found a level 59 6 link chest so my current gems are: GC, echo, conc effect, power charge on crit, life leech and hypothermia If I get items that provide cold leech or power charges I will swap in cold pen and increased crit damage. Important things to note: 1. I am using a zealots oath, eldritch battery, mind over matter set up. This isn't strictly necessary, but I like it so far. The benefit here is I can reserve all my mana and still cast spells. 2. This set up requires blood dance boots for the frenzy charges and life regen. If you don't want to buy blood dance, don't go EB. They only cost a few chaos though. 3. When you first make the switch to EB, you may have trouble sustaining your ES pool. I suggest running discipline and a rejuvenation totem until you can build up your total ES/regen. If you have questions on my build feel free to send me a PM or leave comments. Hope this helps! |
