Concentrated Effect doesn't work with Kinetic Blast?

I mean, I know it's supported, and that the AoE is indeed reduced in my setup, but nowhere does it say that the area damage is increased, and the DPS is the same.

It works fine, the problem is you don't see AoE damage on the tooltip, it shows direct damage of the hit that triggers AoE.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
