4:3 Standard Monitor Resolution Scaling

Currently there is a huge benefit in game for widescreen monitors; there is significantly more "viewable game area" when playing in widescreen. This causes the undesirable situation of having to play in a 1366x768 widescreen window on my 4:3 1600x1200 monitor in order to not be at a disadvantage.

Was just curious if there are plans to fix the resolution scaling for 4:3 standard monitors?

You could play at 1600x900....

Anyways, in most 3d games the viewable height is fixed and viewable width scales based on aspect ratio. Idk how it is for isometric... but there's probably not much they can do to avoid giving an advantage to widescreen without giving an advantage to 4:3 either.... aside from stretching the image which would look AWFUL.
