Where did my quests go?

I am level 46, playing the 5th toon. Not each toon has finished or killed Dominus. One has. While playing today my laptop blinked and all of a sudden my quests were gone and I am farming to get exp.
Anyone able to offer info or advice. Questing points much higher than farming over time. |

Well first off I will say that quests do not give exp. The only way to earn exp is to kill mobs.
You can find your list of quests if you press the letter "U" on your keyboard to bring up the quest list and overview of the acts and difficulties. Your quests will be listed across the bottom of the page. The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Like Ryan said, you don't get experience from quests.
Did the quests disappear for the character that killed Dominus? After killing Dominus, Dialla appears and opens a portal. Once you step through that portal you are in cruel difficulty. You have essentially started over at a higher difficulty. You also do all your quests over again (with different rewards than the first time). When you press 'U' to bring up the map/quest screen, all your quests will show as not done. At the top is a tab for difficulty where you can see your old completed quests from normal difficulty. |
