Can't move

Hi,
Suddenly when teleporting into town I could not move my character. It does not matter what skill I have set, or if I use move only. I have tried with mouse and mousepad with no difference. If I start a PvP duel by right-clicking another player I can walk in the new arena but as soon as it is over and I come back to town my character freezes and I can't move at all. Has anybody got a solution? TY in advance... |

In the meantime, please try typing /Hideout in the chat box to be able to move your character again. I apologise for any delay in service this may have caused you to experience. This happened to my character as well as another person in my party as I entered a zana map...
yup, couldn't move and then I got attacked and ripped to std... after putting in at least 8 hours leveling the damn HC toon up to merci... so what did I get? a big fat lip and no chance to finish my challenges, only had one left for masters... about makes me want to delete my account and say goodbye to POE for a while... all I know is that I don't know anything at all

Thanks for posting, Tom. Returning to my hideout solved the problem for my character.

i have no hideout so i cant move there ^^

You may already have tested this aspect, but in case you haven't:
On US server - Act 3 town does not seem to lock my character in place (though act 1 and 2 do make my character get stuck as others have reported) On European server, Act 1 is the town I can move in and the other two are locked. On the Australian server, all three towns work fine. This is in the 1MHC race. Actually Tom, that fix doesn't really address the problem fully. I return to my hideout, but then when going back to town to turn in quests I once again can't move.
What's odd is this is only happening on my 1mhc char. I hope the issue will be resolved with that character at least once the league is over. Really threw a wrench in my leveling plans for the day... |

Hi there!
In this instance you will be required to enter a different instance of Town by Ctrl + clicking on the town of choice in the waypoint list and selecting another instanced town, or one in another act. This issue is caused by returning to the 'sticky' town that has not yet expired. Please note that if you do not currently have a hideout, that you may be required to remain logged out of the account for up to 12 minutes to generate or join a new town instance. This can also be addressed by changing your current gateway.
