Race Discussion - A casual journey in the 1 month - Forum

So, I don't have a lot of time to play. I have a very busy life on the social/community side and professionally, so I've never really gotten into the races. But this time, I was sick for most of a week during the 1 month, and that gave me the opportunity to play more (and really, it's all I could manage at times).

I'm not a great player, by any stretch, but the goal I set for myself was 3/4 in SC entirely self-found, with no trading at all. In fact, I never even joined trade chat. I also found the Masters entirely on my own, no grouping at any time for maps, Master runs, etc.

I can't say that my success was entirely skill. I lucked out on a couple of key uniques that really happened to support my build in progress (esp. Lightning Coil) but knowing how to use them, when to craft and when to save currency is all a part of the game, and I'm definitely satisfied with my result.
