Lifesprig life per spell cast

Which of the following is true?

1. Lifesprig regens stack, and regenerate simultaneously.

2. Lifesprig regen stacks, but regenerate one at a time. So if you cast ten times in one second, you'll get ten seconds of it's regeneration value (6-8/sec).

3. Regen does not stack whatsoever, and you only have on instance at any given time.
Pretty sure it's c.
It is 3. U can easy test it with incinerate. Open ur char stat widow and go to defense. Start casting and loot at life regen.
I tested it once, it behaves the same as leech if I remember correctly. Therefore, it's 4, two lifesprigs will give 12-16 life per second but it won't stack in any other way, it just refreshes.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Well shit. Another useless unique.
Yeah, useless indeed, I remember dropping it in A1 normal when I started Torment and ended up using it until level 70 or so.

I mean it's a wonderful leveling unique, but beyond that it has no permanent use in builds. It can't even begin to compare to Cybil's Paw. 5-8 life instantly for each enemy hit against 6-8 life per second at most.
Sure, its special ability wears out its usefulness rather quickly, but some uniques are just meant for a bit of levelling, nothing more. Lifesprig at least does what it's supposed to do, I know of many uniques that don't.

Now, that new blizzard staff, can't wait to get my mitts on that one. I'd say it's easily endgame-worthy with some less than orthodox gearing.

PERANDUS SIGNET :D

And Astramentis. I've gotten up to 700 intelligence before, and not with astramentis (don't have it) or extreme gear. Got about 400 from passives, and then ten unique items gives you ~650.
