Blasphemer's touch casting Punnishment

I was fairly shocked when I just one-shotted my 1MHC char at 82, hitting 4 normal white mobs having Blashpemer's touch.

I though no mobs casted the curse 'Punnishment', after it got removed from Nemesis mods' Hexfont, Hexing shrines, etc etc. because it was impossible to counter.

When you have high enough dps, punnishment is one shot dead from one hit, even with 100% Granite up, should it really be that way? A mod which spams different curses on you, which can be Punnishment which means a certain RIP?

I'm done with the challanges, so don't care, but things like that should not exist in the game. It's not a 'challange', it's a RIP which is impossible to counter, unless you constantly hover over the curse mark at the top of your screen, or know the animation by heart.

It's prob an oversight from when they had this problem before with hexfont and shit.

Remove curses on potions doesn't work? Am I confused or you're just playing HC without one of these?

You probably should always have a curse immune flask in HC, but your point still stands. That's a really interesting mechanic I wasn't aware of until now. Either an oversight or a sneaky thing they left for unfortunate few to figure out. I'm just surprised because normally GGG values consistency and this isn't consistent with the other curse mechanics you mentioned.

First off, sorry for your loss. Second off, very good observation, I really hadn't thought this would happen. Normally if it's not a "dangerous" curse I sometimes forget to dispel it, but in this case, I think you're right about it not being there from other sources.

As always with HC deaths, there is SOMETHING that could have been done to counter
