Is Divination Distillate worth the $$?

I'm thinking of purchasing one or trading a spare Rumi (w/some added currency) on standard and I'm wondering for those who have one if you use it properly does it really work? How noticeable is the difference in drops?
In other words, if you look at the cash outlay as an investment rather than a purchase, how long before I get profit?

I don't really like it personally, though I never had one. My issue is that you need to have life or mana to replenish to get the effect, which is not that easy for an effective use.

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...
the legacy version is nice , but if you are not a culler . its not worth it since it is a pain in the testicles to use it in a non culling setup

So true, sold my legacy one some times ago because it was to much pain for me! ;)

I have used it to some success on an RF build where I can stand still take damage and watch the rare/uniques health drop and time it well enough. But even then it's still hard to get it right and the buff effect doesn't last long as the previously mentioned need for mana/life deficit for the effect to last...
IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!!

a) the difference in drops you receive while the flask is active vs when it's not is noticeable. I even got an eternal orb this league while the flask was active. I don't know if its effect gave me the extra push. But it possibly did.

b) magic finding is NOT the reason I purchased two this league. I got them for their elemental defense! With two of them and a Magnate belt, you can chain them indefinitely!

c) synergy with Taste of Hate, Lightning Coil, basic elemental flasks, and incandescent heart makes them so much more amazing

d) you can fit these bad boys into basically any build and they are just ridiculously good. So underrated.

Well, I got one and so far while it's not great, I do see a noticeable difference. The trick is learning to time it correctly.

I'm getting great results from it with my Dom culler. I cyclone him down to cull range, swap weapons, let him hit me, pop the flask and cull.

Getting that extra boost to IIR and IIQ makes it so that you don't have to invest a lot in that kind of gear and still be able to play with capped resists etc.

How can you not love it!? ;)

With timing the flask it helps if you stomp your feet two times, snap your fingers once and then rub ur belly.

But no srsly, it's easy to time as long as you make sure you're always in need of some mana. Simple as that. For me that meant DROPPING CLARITY and refunding some mana nodes I had. Basically this flask is capable of getting you a couple of extra passives. And it's the king of all flasks IMO and not because of the IIR, as I said that's not why I got mine.

Well, I have to run clarity but I use CoD so anytime I get hit it takes from mana. :)
