I approve of the armor. This maybe the wrong place to discuss this, but I never cared for women being drawn wearing as little as possible.
What I have seen of late in this forum is some great art that doesn't aim for the teen boy audience and its is refreshing. Keep up the great work. Amazing colors too. |

I really like it, esp the colours and light, I find myself drawn to really vivid art. the full size version really shows it off, you can see a lot of work thats gone in to it thats somewhat lost on the scaled down preview pic.
Absolutely agree with too much sex in art, I feel like a lot of artists need to just go get a girlfriend or watch a porn movie or something, get it out of your mind and then come back and make a proper piece of art thats about the subject matter and not an expression of how horny you feel. Quentin Tarantino is another example of this, I wish I could just watch one of his movies without having to suffer some sort of toe fetish or whatever every 5 minutes. Kind of a symptom of the modern world tho, consumerism etc. Oh I got a softdrink to sell people, better play on their not so subconscious natural sex drive. Oh I got a shampoo to sell, better sell it with sex, oh I got a car, a pack of biscuits, a movie, an album, a t shirt, a loaf of bread, any bloody thing now days its like just strap some tits on it and hopefully we can make money. Like rly? Can I just walk down to the shops and buy a pint of milk or open a news paper without being assaulted by a range of almost soft porn posing as credible advertisements? Seems not. do not want. |

Marketing works like this, but I agree that it's too much. Despite the armour, there is still this sex attribute in this picture. Pretty face, large (blue) eyes, extremely thin body, breast-hips-ratio is almost 2:1... looks like a modern model (with unhealthy BMI) But this is not real life, for a fantasy picture this is really good. I like the general composition and the colouring, especially becausse it's not all red for a fire witch. Those eyes are really special also. Like "Oh shit! The hands would probably be Herald of Ash.
And when it comes to breast sizes in paintings, larger tends to be the way to go to help distinguish that it is a woman. As for her being thin, that is in the game. The Witch is a petit woman right there in Character Selection. I wouldn't mind there being an Amazon type woman, but that's GGG's call. |

I wonder why they had to make that silly mask for Arcane Set and not just a hood like here. That would be way too cool. I dont use the head piece of set just because of that purple mask.
